The Painted Poppies Stamp Set is inspired by a field of poppies and features beautiful line-art images you can fill in with your choice of coloring techniques.

For today’s project I chose a burnishing technique to add color to the stamped card front.

The splatter image from the stamp set adds nice texture and depth to the coloring.

I completed the stamped images by coloring a few flowers with the Poppy Parade Marker and the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush.

Bottle tags are so fun and are an easy way to dress up any type of bottle.

For today’s project I stamped the sentiment all over the base tag in Versamark ink to create a subtle pattern.

I then pulled in some great texture with the Woven Threads Designer Series paper.

The doily adds a nice shimmer and the vellum some softness.

The Bride & Groom are added to each of the glasses using a masking technique and heat embossing.

Did you notice the sequins coming out of the top of the glasses? I was trying to create some bubbles. What do you think?

Today I am sharing an adorable love card created using the Dino Days stamp set and coordinating Dino dies that could be used as a Valentine or just to let someone know they are special to you.

This layout was inspired by a sample on page 98 of the Stampin’ Up! annual catalog. Do you use the catalog samples for inspiration? It’s such a wonderful resource.

Need a beautiful card to send to a special friend? Today’s project featuring the elegant To A Wild Rose stamp set is simply perfect. This is just one of the fabulous cards we will be creating at my December Forget Me Not (FMN) card class.

This stunning layout was inspired by a card I saw created by Chris Smith.

I used a masking technique to created the collage of flowers for the focal point.

Do you love the look of a collage card, but have trouble getting all the pieces adhered where you want them?

This past weekend I attended a demonstrator event hosted by Brian King and one of his featured guests was Mary Deatherage. Mary showed us how fun  and easy it is to create a collage card.

The trick is to lay everything out until you are happy with the appearance and then take a quick photo before removing your pieces to adhere them in place. You can easily look at the photo as you secure each of your pieces in place. I gave this a try on today’s project and it worked great!

This card opens up like a wallet and has a pocket to easily slip in a gift card or some cash. The front flap tucks under the focal point to hold the holder closed.

With three styles of Christmas trees in the Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set, you’ll be able to create a full forest of projects. For todays project I heat embossed a couple of trees and then quickly punched them out with the coordinating Pine Tree punch.

The Most Wonderful Time Product Medley includes stamps, paper, dies, and accessories that are perfectly coordinated for creating cards and more. A product medley is similar to our cardmaking kits and other project kits but without the predetermined projects.

Medley includes:
* 11-piece photopolymer stamp set (clear blocks sold separately)
* 48 sheets of 6″ x 6″ (15.2 x 15.2 cm) Designer Series Paper, 8 each of 6 double-sided designs

Today I am sharing a thank you card I created using some leftover paper scraps. This is a great way to use up some of those smaller strips you never want to throw away.

I love how much interest is added to this simple card layout just by combining the various patterns and colors. This layout is inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest created by Julia Stainton.

I started off with a neutral Crumb Cake card base (5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ folded in half) and added another Crumb Cake layer (5-1/4″ x 4″) I textured with the Subtle 3D emboss folder.

Each of the paper strips are cut approx. 5/8″ x 2-1/2″.

The Tailored Tag punch was used to banner cut one end of some of the strips and the Stitched Labels dies to cut all the other ends. I love, love, love all the stitched details.

On the card inside I added a 5/8″ strip to one side of the 5-1/4″ x 4″ Whisper White cardstock layer. It does not show up very well in the picture, but the far right edge has a row of stitching I added using the Stitched Labels dies.

Are you wondering where the Thanks on the card front came from? I die-cut Thanksgiving with the Word Wishes dies and just cut away the portion of the word I didn’t want. This makes these awesome dies even more versatile.

To add the finishing touch, I combined the Holiday Rhinestones and the Happiness Blooms Enamel Dots. So fun!
