Easy Hinge Fun Fold Card You’ll Want to Make for Every Occasion! (Video)

If you love cards that look fancy but are surprisingly easy to make, you’re going to LOVE this Hinge Fun Fold!

Today I’m sharing a sweet thank-you card featuring the Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper, Creative Haven Dies, and the Banner Sayings Stamp Set — the same products we’re using in the December Cultivated Creativity DIY Papercrafting Kit. This fun fold is quick, cute, and totally customizable for any hobby or interest.

Whether someone loves sewing, plants, crafting, or collecting cozy things, you can easily switch out the patterned paper and ephemera to match their personality. It’s one of the reasons I adore this suite — it makes handmade cards feel extra personal.

If you’ve ever wanted a card that looks impressive but doesn’t take forever, this one checks all the boxes!

We start with a Petal Pink card base, add soft layers of Basic Beige cardstock, and then bring in the beautiful prints from the Hobby Haven Designer Series Paper.

For the hinge panel, we use the Creative Haven Dies to cut a lovely arch window that frames your focal point beautifully.

On my original version, I used the sewing-themed patterns along with the dress form from the ephemera page in the DSP pack. During the video, I switched to the plant prints to show just how easy it is to tailor this fun fold to anyone’s interests — a HUGE win when you want your handmade cards to feel thoughtful and personal.

The sentiment layer uses the Banner Sayings Stamp Set, punched with the coordinating Banner Punch and embellished with a sweet white twine bow and Antique Pearls.

Inside the card, the design continues with a coordinating strip of paper, a stamped greeting, and another small ephemera accent. Simple but so polished!

All Star Tutorial Bundle Design Team Blog Hop November 2025-Lights of Aurora Suite (Video)

Welcome to the All Star Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop!

Today we have a wonderful hop showcasing additional projects we created using the Lights of Aurora Suite Collection featured in our November 2025 tutorial. I hope you enjoy my creation.

Ever look at your die-cut scraps and wonder if there’s something magical you could do with them?

Today, I’m showing you how to create a breathtaking reflection effect using the negatives from your dies — no mirror stamping required!

Inspired by a swap I received from my talented friend Christine Bertram, this card captures the look of shimmering water reflecting a mountain scene under the northern lights.

I started with one of the stunning Northern Lights prints from the Lights of Aurora Designer Series Paper — the perfect backdrop for this winter wonderland.

Then I layered my scene using:

A mountain cut from White Velvet paper
Detailed mountain overlays cut from a purple print in the DSP pack
A tree line cut from a dark, moody section of the same papers
“Water” cut from a blue-toned print

To create the reflection, I flipped the negative pieces from my die-cuts to use as a stencil and then I added soft ink blending with Blending Brushes, white craft ink ripples, and a touch of Wink of Stella for that magical shimmer.

The sentiment, Embrace the Magic, is stamped in Memento Black at the base of the water, with a single Shimmer Foam Star to dot the “i.”

Inside, I layered Balmy Blue and Basic White cardstock, stamping Cheers to Another Adventure from the Scenic Adventure stamp set and adding a small section of die-cut trees for a cohesive finish.

Using patterned paper for the die-cut elements instead of solid cardstock adds instant depth and variation in color — a beautiful way to create texture without bulk!

A Little Fall Inspiration from Our Team Gathering

One of my favorite things about being part of the Stampin’ Up! demonstrator community is how we share ideas and inspire each other.

This Pop-Out Window Card design was originally taught by my talented team member Sheila Tatum at our recent Diemonds Team Gathering. I loved it so much, I had to share my own fall version featuring the Gathering Moments Suite.

This design isn’t your typical folded card base — instead, it’s a flat card layer with a clear acetate panel that wraps around the front. When you slide it from the envelope, the acetate naturally curves and pops up, giving the illusion of a 3D window box.

The card base and acetate each hold design elements, so when standing, you see layers of dimension and depth — but it still folds flat for easy mailing.

Today we have a wonderful hop showcasing additional projects we created using the Celebratory Sips Suite Collection featured in our June 2025 tutorial-—just one of the fabulous product suites included in our June BOGO sale! Celebrate life’s special moments with a handcrafted card that truly sparkles! This week, I’m excited to share a project that combines vibrant colors, textured layers, and a unique glassy finish to create a card perfect for any celebration.

This project is part of the June All Star Video Class Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop, and while the tutorial bundle is packed with exclusive ideas, I’m giving you a bonus design today that complements the suite perfectly!

Starting with a Berry Burst card base, I layered strips of patterned paper in coordinating prints. The focal point features a Fresh Freesia die-cut circle adorned with stamped glasses, adding a touch of festivity. The sentiment, stamped in Secret Sea ink on a white die-cut banner, ties the design together. A double bow using Strawberry Slush twine adds the perfect finishing touch.

To achieve the glassy effect, I used packing tape over the stamped glasses and then embossed the layer with the Glass & Gardens embossing folder. This simple technique adds a realistic glass-like texture, elevating the overall design.

Interactive Birthday Card with a Clever Butterfly Closure (Video)

When a quick demo gets people asking for more, you know you’re on to something good! A couple weeks ago, I shared a short Reel showing a fun, interactive butterfly card where the wings tuck through a die-cut slit to hold the card closed—and your response was incredible!

So today, I’m back with the full real-time tutorial for a fresh version of that project. Same clever closure, new color combo, and a few extra design details to give it a bold birthday twist.

Make This Pocket Card With a Hidden Twist -Perfect for the Guys! (Video)

Looking for a masculine card that’s anything but boring? You’re going to love this cool, textured pocket card that’s perfect for birthdays, thank-yous, and just because!

This week’s project is inspired by a creative swap card I received from my friend Karina Chin, and I added my own twist to make it an interactive piece packed with texture and detail. In today’s tutorial, I’m walking you through how to:

Score and fold your cardstock to create a unique folded-back pocket design
Tuck in a die-cut tag with a stamped leafy image and layered ribbon detail
Use a floss threader (yes, really!) to easily pull your ribbon through a reinforced tag top
Add leftover patterned paper, a popped-up sentiment, and a few textured embellishments for extra polish
Stamp the inside to coordinate and give the card a finished look

Transform Your Paper Scraps Into 2 Stunning Cards (Video)

Hello, creative friends!

Think your paper scraps are useless? Let’s turn them into two breathtaking cards you’ll love to make! Today, I’m excited to share a bonus project that’s part of our upcoming March Sale-a-Bration Celebration customer appreciation event—a demonstration on how to create two beautiful, all-occasions cards using repurposed pattern paper. This project is all about taking simple elements and transforming them into something that truly stands out, and best of all, it’s fast, fun, and totally achievable!

In this demonstration, I start with a classic white card base and add a burst of color using ½” strips of a gorgeous pattern paper. These strips are carefully adhered to the card, leaving just enough white space for a clean, modern contrast. Next, I show you how to use a die to cut a large, elegant butterfly from the layered paper—creating a stunning focal point for the card.

To complete the design, I heat emboss a sentiment in white on black die-cut shapes for a crisp, sophisticated look. A few sparkle gems are added to bring in that final touch of magic, making the cards perfect for any occasion.

Today, I’m excited to share a double heart gate fold card that’s sure to impress—plus a few variations on the design to help you stretch your creativity even further. Today’s project is one that was inspired by a project created by Kim Quade.

Versatility: By simply changing up your focal shapes (hearts, alternate shapes, or even just a single heart), you can adapt this card for any season or celebration.
Wow Factor: The double heart gate fold is easy to assemble but looks incredibly fancy, guaranteeing you’ll surprise and delight whoever receives it.
Fun Techniques: From using Glad Press-n-Seal to attach overlapping hearts, to adding bubble wrap stamping inside the card, this project is packed with hands-on crafting fun that’s quick to learn.
