Today I am sharing a lovely holiday wintry scene created by Betsy Batten for our Diemonds team swap featuring several products from our Holiday catalog.

Just by simply changing the sentiment, this great card could be used to celebrate just about any occasion. Walking through woods in the winter is one of the most beautiful experiences. Recreate it with the photorealistic trees of the Winter Woods stamp set.

Betsy stamped the trees in the background using the images from the Winter Woods stamp set in Crumb Cake and Shaded Spruce inks.

She added a really nice sparkly snowline with the fine tip glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

The sentiment from the Stylish Christmas stamp set is stamped in Real Red ink

The die cuts created with the In The Woods and Detailed Deer dies add great dimension to the card front.

Betsy brought the design to the inside of the card with the Timeless Tidings stamp set.

5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
(2) 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White cardstock
3-1/2″ x 5″ Shaded Spruce-die cut
1-1/4″ x 1-3/4″ Soft Suede- die cut

Spring Wreath $ Holder

This time of year I find I am always in need of gift card and money holders. When we share one we make, I feel it adds such a special touch.

Today I am sharing a beautiful money/gift card holder we made at my November FMN class featuring the Sprig Punch and the gorgeous Frosted Floral designer paper.

The elegant, textured designs printed on shimmery white paper are just breathtaking and coordinate wonderfully with the Whisper White, Shimmery and White Velveteen papers used to create the wreath focal point on the front of the outside pouch.

I used 36 punched sprigs to create this lovely wreath.

The Metallic Pearls and Metallic Edge ribbon add just the right finishing touch.

The ornament slides right down into the outside pouch. The small pocket on the front of the ornament is perfect to add a little bit of money.

Gate Fold Explosion Fun Fold

Today I am sharing one of the fun fold cards we made at my October 2018 FMN class featuring the fabulous Detailed Deer thinlit dies. I just love the images in this set of dies.

Currently you can purchase the dies in a bundle with the coordinating Dashing Deer stamp set and save 10%!

This fun fold is a gate fold with a super cool surprise inside…when you slide off the belly band and open the card it explodes right off the card base. Love this!

Each class participant had a different pattern from the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper so each project was unique and was still just as lovely as my sample. I am so sad this paper has already sold out so is no longer available, but we have several other beautiful holiday papers available in my online store that would make just as lovely a card. If you would like to recreate this project I recommend using the All Is Bright or the Frosted Floral designer series paper. Click the thubnails below to get a better look at each of these papers.

I used the Joyous Noel Glimmer paper to die-cut several of the detailed elements from the Detailed Deer dies to add some extra sparkle to the card inside.

The glimmer paper was also used to die-cut the deer focal point on the belly band. I think this dashing deer die is my favorite one in the set.

Christmas Warmth

Today I am sharing a lovely holiday card created by Betsy Batten for our Diemonds team swap featuring the In The Woods framelit dies. The texture created by the dies is super cool.

Similar to the project I shared yesterday where I used the silver Metallic Pearls, Betsy applied the the gold pearls to add ornaments to the tree. The star clip from the All Is Bright Paper Clips made the perfect tree topper don’t you think? Love this!

The Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper (DSP) with it’s sophisticated seasonal designs and copper foil accents are lovely on this project.

The soft luxurious Velvet Ribbon creates a nice transition between the designs.

The sentiment from the Timeless Tidings stamp set was stamped on the inside of the card in Memento ink. The design was brought to the inside by stamping the image in Tranquil Tide ink.

5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (folded in half) Tranquil Tide cardstock
5-1/4″ x 4″ Gold Foil
5″ x 1-1/2″ DSP 1
5″ x 2-1/4″ DSP 2
3-1/2″ x 4-1/4″ Whisper White cardstock -die cut trees
5″ x 3-3/4″ Whisper White cardstock (inside)
