Today I am sharing one of the fun fold cards we made at my October 2018 FMN class featuring the fabulous Detailed Deer thinlit dies. I just love the images in this set of dies.

This fun fold is a gate fold with a super cool surprise inside…when you slide off the belly band and open the card it explodes right off the card base. Love this!
Each class participant had a different pattern from the Joyous Noel Designer Series Paper so each project was unique and was still just as lovely as my sample. I am so sad this paper has already sold out so is no longer available, but we have several other beautiful holiday papers available in my online store that would make just as lovely a card. If you would like to recreate this project I recommend using the All Is Bright or the Frosted Floral designer series paper. Click the thubnails below to get a better look at each of these papers.
Alternate Papers
I used the Joyous Noel Glimmer paper to die-cut several of the detailed elements from the Detailed Deer dies to add some extra sparkle to the card inside.
The glimmer paper was also used to die-cut the deer focal point on the belly band. I think this dashing deer die is my favorite one in the set.
