Don’t you just love the May 2019 Hugs By Shelli Pumpkin Kit? This spring-themed kit is full of elegant, vintage looks that reflect Shelli’s personal papercrafting style. There are so many projects you can create with the stamps and elements included in this kit. It even coordinates perfectly with products from the Bird Ballard Suite, allowing you to expand the possibilities of your creations.

I used the Blender Pen coloring technique to color in the stamped images. It’s been awhile since I have tried this technique, but it is still a favorite.

I even brought the design to the card inside.

The card front as well as the envelop flap is stamped using the new 2019-2021 In-Color…Seaside Spray. I love the softness of this color.

• 2-7/8″ x 4-3/8″ Very Vanilla cardstock
• 2-3/4″ x 3″ Very Vanilla cardstock- die cut 4th smallest nested label die (love these!)

Today I am sharing a fabulous alternate card I created with the May 2019 Hug By Shelli Pumpkin Kit. This spring-themed kit is full of elegant, vintage looks that reflect Shelli’s personal papercrafting style.

I added a 1-3/4″ x 3″ Vellum cardstock layer to the card front before adding the layers of the focal point.

The Stitched Nested labels were perfect to add in another layer to the stamped sentiment.

Sometimes just a few simple layers and great texture give you everything you need to create a fabulous card. Today I am sharing a lovely thank you card I created using the beautiful floral backgrounds of the Country Floral Dynamic Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. This layout is perfect for any occasion! You can easily change out the sentiment to send the message you want.

Of course I couldn’t just cut my layers when I have the Stitched Rectangle dies sitting proudly on my craft table calling my name could I?

For the focal point I decided to keep it fairly simple so it did not take away from all the dynamic texture and details created with the layers. I chose the fancy Story Label punch to layer under my sentiment. I love that punches are a quick and easy way to add interest and depth to your projects.

Do you bring the design to the inside of your cards? I think it adds such a nice touch and still leaves plenty of room to write a note.
