Color can do so much to communicate the perfect look, tone and excitement of your project. Stampin’ Up!’s unique color collections make it easier to put together the look you want to achieve. You will find coordinating colors in ink, paper, embellishments as well as many other products throughout the new catalog! Yippee!!!

Keep all of the Stampin’ Up! colors at your fingertips with these handy color charts. I have updated my charts file to reflect all the fantabulous colors featured in the 2025-2026  Annual Catalog!

Create your own set of color charts:

1. Just print the pages of the PDF file I created for you. (be sure the settings display the pdf as a full page when you print)
   • File includes the standard color Brights, Neutrals, Subtles, Regals and Basics collections PLUS the In-Color charts for 2024-2026 and 2025-2027 colors: Color Charts
2. Cut the charts apart. I cut my charts down to measure 4-1/8″ x 5-1/4″ so I could easily laminate them.
3. Punch out one circle (or any shape you desire) in each of the amazing SU colors and adhere them to the chart under each color name. You can also choose to stamp an image under each color instead.
4. Laminate and string your charts together if you like. I used a 1″ ring to hold mine together.

I also have an additional great reference tool for you…the 2025 Color Coach!

The Color Coach shows great color combinations featuring all of our collections. I have used my laminated Color Coach so many times to create projects with some of the wonderful combinations that I may not have tried otherwise.

Looking for a masculine card that’s anything but boring? You’re going to love this cool, textured pocket card that’s perfect for birthdays, thank-yous, and just because!

This week’s project is inspired by a creative swap card I received from my friend Karina Chin, and I added my own twist to make it an interactive piece packed with texture and detail. In today’s tutorial, I’m walking you through how to:

• Score and fold your cardstock to create a unique folded-back pocket design
• Tuck in a die-cut tag with a stamped leafy image and layered ribbon detail
• Use a floss threader (yes, really!) to easily pull your ribbon through a reinforced tag top
• Add leftover patterned paper, a popped-up sentiment, and a few textured embellishments for extra polish
• Stamp the inside to coordinate and give the card a finished look

1. Just print the pages of the PDF file I created for you. (be sure the settings display the pdf as a full page when you print)

2. Cut the charts apart. I cut my charts down to measure 4-1/8″ x 5-1/4″ so I could easily laminate them.
3. Punch out one circle (or any shape you desire) in each of the amazing SU colors and adhere them to the chart under each color name. You can also choose to stamp an image under each color instead.
4. Laminate and string your charts together if you like. I used a 1″ ring to hold mine together.

As I thought through this month’s theme, I was drawn back to my first childhood home in Missouri where we spent as much of our days outside playing with the other children in the neighborhood.

I remember (who knows how accurate this memory actually is) having white Hydrangeas’ along one full side of our house. I would refer to them as the “snowball” flowers.

I always wanted to have fun colorful flowers and wasn’t all that excited about the sea of white flowers so…I would pick flowers from our bushes and trot on over to the neighbors house to pick all the vibrant flowers they had and replace them with our fluffy white ones. Needless to say, I would get into quite a bit of trouble as it was pretty obvious where the replacement flowers had come from. I guess at the age of 5, I thought I was being kinda sneaky.

For my project I created a simple yet elegant monochromatic card featuring the Hydrangea Haven stamp set that brings me back to those long summer days.

I paired the glorious Hydrangea blooms with the versatile greetings of the Peaceful Moments stamp set.

I love that this neutral color scheme and card layout can be used for Thank You, Celebrations or evening as a Sympathy card.

I don’t know about you, but I love adding a little extra special touch to my handmade cards. I have 3 great tips for you that will really take your cards to the next level. The best part is, these are super simple and do not add a lot of extra time to the creation process.

Here’s the tips:

Add a little texture!  On this project some great texture was added simply by embossing some stamped images on the Vellum layer.

Add some dimension! Elements at various heights add so much interest to your cards. Here I die-cut a few of the flower petals, colored them with some Clear Wink of Stella and popped them up with some foam dots.

Bring the design to the inside! Bringing a touch of the design element to the card inside really gives your projects a special finishing touch. Simply adding the embossed vellum layer to the card inside ties the card elements all together.

Project Layers (Letter Size):

• 4-1/4” x 11” Thick Basic White Cardstock
• (2) 4” x 5-1/4” Vellum Cardstock
• 3” x 4” Smoky Slate Cardstock
• 3” x 4” Basic White Cardstock
• 3-1/4” x 4-1/4” Basic White Cardstock (inside)
• Scrap Basic White Cardstock-die cut flowers
• 2-3/4” x 1” Basic gray Cardstock- die cut sentiment
• Approx 12” Trim

Project Layers (A4 Size):

• 5 cm x 29.6 cm Thick Basic White Cardstock
• (2) 9.9 cm x 14.2 cm Vellum Cardstock
• 5 cm x 10 cm Smoky Slate Cardstock
• 5 cm x 10 cm Basic White Cardstock
• 8 cm x 10.5 cm Basic White Cardstock (inside)
• Scrap Basic White Cardstock-die cut flowers
• 7 cm x 2.5 cm Basic gray Cardstock- die cut sentiment
• Approx 30 cm Trim

The post Around the World on Wednesday Blog Hop – It’s A Wonderful Day In The Neighborhood (Video) appeared first on Creativelee Yours.

The twist was we were to interview each other to get to know each other a bit more…how fun! Cheryll and I got together via Zoom for our chat. It still amazes me this is possible to talk with someone across the world as if we were in the same room.

When Cheryll shared one of her favorite projects she created with me, I knew this was the perfect choice for my inspiration. You can see Cheryll’s full post HERE for the Crayon Resist Technique.

I found out Cheryll loves complicated and chaotic when it comes to her cardmaking. She is especially drawn to water coloring or really any color blending techniques where it is difficult to create the same thing twice. The messier the better.

For my project I wanted to create something using a resist technique and color blending, but I am not a big fan of messy projects so I avoided the watercoloring and went with ink blending with a Blending Brush to pull in my own style as well.

I started off with a Thick Basic White card base and added a Vellum Cardstock layer. I love the softness the Vellum creates.

To create the resist technique I die-cut a few elements with the Wisteria Dies from some Masking Paper and applied them to my Basic White cardstock layer before adding the Soft Succulent and Evening Evergreen inks with the Blending Brush. I stayed with the greens since they are Cheryll’s favorite to work with.

Next I removed the masking paper and added a little bit of splatter with the Light Evening Evergreen Stampin’ Blend by flicking the brush top against the cap. This works wonderfully, but you need to be aware that it does blow out the tip so you will want a second set for coloring purposes.

I layered the water colored (yes I went ahead and did a little bit of water coloring) butterfly with a few Evening Evergreen die-cut leaves and some Simply Elegant Gold Trim. The butterfly is one of both our favorite images so it was a fun image to incorporate.

The gold pearls from the Festive Pearls embellishments added the perfect finishing touch.

Project Layers:

• 4-1/4″ x 11″ (folded in half) Thick Basic White cardstock
• (2) 3-3/4″ x 5″ Vellum Cardstock
• (2) 3-1/4″ x 4-1/2″ Basic White cardstock
• 3-1/8″ x 4-1/8″ Shimmery White cardstock- cut into 1-3/4″, 1-3/8″ and 1″ strips after applying the resist technique
• Approx. 4″ x 5″ Masking Paper- die cut
• 2-3/4″ x 6-1/2″ Evening Evergreen cardstock- die cut leaves
• 3″ x 2-1/4″ Shimmery White cardstock- die cut butterfly
• Scrap Shimmery White cardstock- die cut sentiment

Color can do so much to communicate the perfect look, tone and excitement of your project. Stampin’ Up!’s unique color collections make it easier to put together the look you want to achieve. You will find coordinating colors in ink, paper, embellishments as well as many other products throughout the new catalog! Yippee!!!

Keep all of the Stampin’ Up! colors at your fingertips with these handy color charts. I have updated my charts file to reflect all the current colors featured in the 2022-2023 catalog.

Create your own set of color charts:

1. Just print the pages of the PDF file I created for you. (be sure the settings display the pdf as a full page when you print)
   • File includes the standard color Brights, Neutrals, Subtles, Regals and Basics collections PLUS the In-Color charts for 2021-2023 and 2022-2024 colors: Color Charts
   • Need past color charts? Includes In-Colors from 2012 thru the 2022-2024.  Color Charts
2. Cut the charts apart. I cut my charts down to measure 4″ x 5 1/4″ so I could easily laminate them.
3. Punch out one circle (or any shape you desire) in each of the fabulous SU colors and adhere them to the chart under each color name. You can also choose to stamp an image under each color instead.
4. Laminate and string your charts together if you like. I used a 1″ ring to hold mine together.

I also have an additional great reference tool for you…the Online Color Coach!

The online color coach shows great color combinations featuring all of our collections. There is also a blank color coach that serves as a template where you can create your own color combinations. Simply download the files below. I have used my laminated Color Coach so many times to create projects with some of the wonderful combinations. This will be a very handy tool to have on hand!

This fun layout was inspired by a project I saw online created by Jill Chapman.

Today’s project is just one of the fantabulous cards we created at my December 2021 FMN (Forget Me Not) Class where I featured the Stitched Triangles Dies that I hope will give you a little inspiration.

The ladybug body, wings and the leaves were all cut out with the Ladybug Builder Punch, making this delightful project one you can create multiples of in no time. 

The dots on the wings are embossed with Black Embossing Powder to add some gloss. Embossing is definitely one of my favorite techniques. It’s super cool to watch the powder melt as you heat it up.

To add a little texture and depth to the leaves, I scored, cut them apart, and folded them before adhering them to the card base. LOVE it!

Printed paper is an excellent choice for scrapbooking, card making, and so much more. Whatever type of pattern you need, you’ll find it in the Pattern Party Designer Series Paper (DSP). This amazing paper is available as part of our Stampin’ Rewards program, and has the perfect prints to coordinate with these fun ladybugs. You can easily use these pattern staples in any season, for any occasion.

One of my favorite things about Stampin’ Up! products is the versatility. You can easily take products that may seem to be specific to one occasion and use them in unexpected ways. This creates such wonderful value.

This layout was inspired by a project created by Cindy Shuster.

Today’s project is just one of the fantabulous cards we created at my December 2021 FMN (Forget Me Not) Class where I combined die cut trees from the Christmas Trees Dies with the Sparkle Of The Season and Best Year Stamp Sets to create a wintry Birthday card that I hope will give you a little inspiration. 

Don’t you love these Brushed Metallic whimsical die-cut trees? It’s trees, trees, and more trees in the amazing Christmas Trees Dies. Use these dies to cut out stamped images from the coordinating Whimsical Trees stamp set, create a wondrous woodsy scene, and more. While the trees are perfect for Christmastime creations, they can easily be used year-round. 

I used a stamping off technique to stamp the snowflakes in the background with the Sparkle of the Season stamp set. This unique stamp set comes with a variety of images that are perfect for the season of your choice. Combine the beautiful imagery with the coordinating Seasonal Swirls Dies to create customized wreaths on your cards. 

For this project I also pulled in the Best Year Stamp Set. This set is packed full of all occasion inside and outside sentiments you will use all year long.
