Do you enjoy creating cards that incorporate a fun technique? I have a gorgeous card to share with you today that we created at my April 2021 FMN (Forget Me Not) Class that I hope will give you a little inspiration.
Have you tried creating a background using Embossing Paste and a template? Embossing Paste is so fun and really mush easier than you might expect to use. I found it was like icing a cake when I applied it to my layers. It does dry quickly so you want to be sure to clean all your tools immediately after use so the paste does not set on the tools.
For this project I wanted to add a bit of color to the focal point, so I pulled out the blending brushes. LOVE THESE!!!! I love the softness created by fading from one color to another. It’s such a nice contrast to the texture of the Embossing Paste.
I brought in a little bit of Vellum cardstock to layer behind the die-cut Gold Foil sentiment on the card front and then added a layer to the card inside as well. I love the softness this adds as well.
The messages from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set are perfect for year-round use: birthdays, thank you, and all-occasion. You could use this layout with any of these wonderful sentiments.
