Sand and sea. It’s the perfect recipe for all things summery, fun, and relaxing. Start with the basics: stamped images, pretty paper. Add fun embellishments for a final touch, and your handmade cards and scrapbook pages are complete! You’ll love what you can do with this beachy collection. If this product suite is not already on your gotta have it list, I highly recommend adding it.

For my project, I decided to create a super cool background on Vellum cardstock using Stampin’ Blends and rubbing alcohol. Have you given this technique a try yet? I love how each project is unique when creating with this technique. I used Balmy Blue, Pool Party and Soft Succulent to create the soft watery looking background.

Once the paper was dry, I added the embossed shells in one corner of the Vellum, before adhering it to the Basic White cardstock layer. I think the white layer under the vellum really allows you to see more of the beautiful detail created with the alcohol.

Add a touch of freshness to your projects with the fun imagery and playful sentiments of the Ice Cream Corner Suite Collection. This entire collection is so much fun! Show family and friends you care, wish somebody a happy birthday or just brighten someone’s day with this refreshing suite collection that will make everybody feel it’s summer all year long! For my project, I decided to create a fun rainbow of colors for a birthday celebration. This layout was inspired by a card I saw created by Mary Fish. Don’t all the happy bright colors just make you smile?

Did you notice the little scallop edge along the top and bottom of the colorful strip? This was created with the scoop of the Ice Cream Builder Punch. Had you already figured that out?

I added a little pizzazz to my ice cream by punching the scoop out of the glittering glimmer ombre paper. LOVE this!

Stampin’ Up! Designer Series Paper is so beautiful that I don’t want to waste any of it. Do you find yourself with lots of little strips that you just don’t know what to do with, but don’t want to throw it away?

Today I am sharing a lovely card created using strips of leftover Designer Series Paper that is perfect for just about any occasion. You can easily change the paper prints, colors and sentiments to create the feel you are looking for.

This project is inspired by a card created by Jolanda Johnstone.

The Flower & Field Designer Series Paper adds a bit of dramatic flair to your papercrafting adventure. Floral prints contrast with both dark and light colors to create a perfect backdrop for any project. Add stamps, sentiments, punches, and embellishments to complete the look and set the mood. For the focal point on this project, I simply cut the flowers right from the pattern paper…so fun!
