Today I am sharing one of the awesome cards we made at my May 2018 FMN class featuring the Waterfront stamp set. This set is perfect to create tranquil sceneries, whether it’s lakes lined with trees, tropical islands, or snow-covered forests.

This really cool scene was inspired by one I saw created by Lisa Tedder. As soon as I saw it, I knew I had to give it a try.

We used a masking technique in class to create the layered look of the umbrellas on the stamped Whisper White layer. So cool and super easy to create.

I really like how the shiny embossing on the umbrella gives it a bit of a wet appearance.

Today I am sharing the Impossible fun fold card we made at my May 2018 FMN card class featuring the photographic-inspired So Many Shells stamp set.

Let these friendly phrases wash over you like a salty sea breeze. The lovely shells and sentiments will make your projects extraordinary.

Doesn’t the background layers give a nice beachy feel? The mix of the wash with the splatter stamping and the shimmer of the bricks (created by adding a pinch of glitter in the embossing paste) made a nice combination. So fun!

The shells were stamped and then easily fussy cut out. I personally prefer not to hand cut out pieces, but these shells were calling to be cut out on this project. I was surprised at how quick they were to fussy cut.

I added some Wink of Stella to a few of the shells to give them some shimmer.

I love that this card folds flat so you can easily drop it in the mail.
