Welcome to our Go For Greece Blog hop! You may be wondering what this hop is all about – we are a group of demonstrators that are part of a support program set up by Kylie Bertucci. In this group there is a wealth of knowledge from Kylie and her guest speakers designed to help demonstrators reach their goals within Stampin’ Up!
I am excited to share my impossible fun fold card giving you a sneak peek at some products from our upcoming Share What You Love promotion. This card was inspired by one I saw created by Dawn Griffith. I knew when I saw it I had to give it a try and guess what, it’s not difficult to make!
I started with a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Piece of Mint Macaron cardstock for my card base. This is just one of the fabulous coordinating colors in the Share What You Love cardstock pack.
How thrilled are you that Mint Macaron is a returning color and will now be part of our core color collection starting June 1st, 2018? I am so excited!
The card base is scored down the center (dashed line) and then cut (red lines) up to the score line on each side as shown below in the template.
Once the card base is ready, just flip the right side over along the score line so the wider part of the panel is now at the top of the card- super cool right?
For the layering on each of the front panels I cut 4-1/8″ x 2-5/8″ Basic Black cardstock as well as 4″ x 2-1/2″ Designer series paper per the templates below.
I cut the flower along the 3/4″x 5-1/2″ strip of Mint Macaron cardstock out of one of the scrap pieces (shaded gray area). This strip is adhered to both ends of the card to stabilize it.
The pearlized finishes in the Share What You Love specialty designer paper is gorgeous. Pictures don’t do this must have paper justice.
For the center layers on the front and back of the card with my sentiments, I cut (2) 2″ x 3-3/8″ pieces of Basic Black cardstock and then layered each of the stamped 1-7/8″ x 3-1/4″ Whisper White cardstock layers with SNAIL adhesive.
On the front I also punched opposite corners with the new Detailed Trip punch (coming June 1, 2018) before adding the layers to the card front with dimensionals.
I love that this card folds flat and easily slips inside a standard envelope.
