Gifting a nice bottle with a fabulous tag is a wonderful way to celebrate any occasion, especially a wedding!

Bottle tags are so fun and are an easy way to dress up any type of bottle.

For today’s project I stamped the sentiment all over the base tag in Versamark ink to create a subtle pattern.

I then pulled in some great texture with the Woven Threads Designer Series paper.

The doily adds a nice shimmer and the vellum some softness.

The Bride & Groom are added to each of the glasses using a masking technique and heat embossing.

Did you notice the sequins coming out of the top of the glasses? I was trying to create some bubbles. What do you think?

Snowflake Joy- Printable Tutorial

Today I am sharing a beautiful winter snowflake holiday card we made at our Diemonds team meeting featuring a few limited time products from the Snowflake Showcase promotion. This great layout was inspired by a card I saw created by Tania Tobin.

Become enchanted with the unique details of the Snow is Glistening stamp set plus you can easily create a magical die-cut snow flurry with the coordinating Snowfall thinlit dies.

To create the lovely shimmer background I die-cut several snowflakes out of sticky notes to create masks. These were placed over one of the Whisper White cardstock layers.

Frost White Shimmer Paint was mixed with a drop of Mint Macaron re-inker and then applied to the background with a sponge.

The Velvet ribbon added to the layered snowflakes give a nice warm contrast to the icy snowflakes.

The sentiments were stamped in Tranquil Tide ink and the snowflakes stamped in Mint Macaron ink. Don’t you just love this color combo?

Card Layers:

5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (folded in half) Mint Macaron cardstock
5-1/8″ x 3-7/8″ Tranquil Tide cardstock
(2) 5″ x 3-3/4″ Whisper White cardstock
3-1/2″ x 4″ Silver Glimmer- die cut largest snowflake
2-1/2″ x 2-1/2″ Mint Macaron cardstock- die cut 2nd largest snowflake
2″ x 2″ Whisper White cardstock- die cut with smallest stitched circle

Today I am sharing one of the cards we made at my May 2018 FMN class featuring the Weather Together stamp set and Umbrella Weather framelit dies. This project was inspired by a card I saw created by Linda Callahan.

Rainy days don’t have to be bad. With these products you can create and send an encouraging note or let people know that you love them. Splash in the puddles and have a good time with this charming stamp set.

We used a masking technique in class to create the layered look of the umbrellas on the stamped Whisper White layer. So cool and super easy to create.

I really like how the shiny embossing on the umbrella gives it a bit of a wet appearance.

Today I am sharing another white on white card featuring a fun masking technique we made for Mom at my recent Diemonds team meeting.

This lovely floral design is not only for perfect for Mother’s Day, but could be used for any occassion simply by changing the sentiment!

Do you like the Tranquil Tide, Sweet Sugarplum, Peekaboo Peach and So Saffron color combo? I thought I would mix it up a bit and use one of the combination in the In-Color combos reference chart. This would not normally be a combination I would put together, but I really liked how this turned out.

Embossed Z-Fold Limes

Today I am sharing a super fun all occasion Z-Fold card we made at my August 2017 FMN class featuring the Lemon Zest stamp set and coordinating Lemon Builder punch.

This card was inspired by one I saw created by Jenny Burnett.

To create the light and dark shades of the sliced limes in the Lemon Lime Twist ink color, we used a stamping off technique combined with a masking technique so the limes looked layered.

We added some texture and gave the limes and leaves a waxy look with some clear embossing. I love how this turned out.

The sponging along the outer edges of the punched images really adds some depth.

Today I am sharing a beautiful card we did at my April 2017 FMN class featuring the High Tide stamp set. We combined the burnishing technique along with masking to create this work of art.

Todays card was inspired by one created by Tina Linch.

Do you hear the beach calling your name? It sounds a lot like what you hear when these stamps are calling to you. Answer all the calls!

I love that his stamp set has great greeting that can be utilized for several occasions.
