Today I am sharing a fun Halloween card I created using the Sheltering Tree stamp set and Hearth & Home Thinlits.

I started with a 5 ½” x 8 ½” (folded in half) Pumpkin Pie card base and added a 5 ¼” x 4” piece of Halloween Night Designer Series Paper to the card front.

To create my window scene I punched a 1 ½” circle out of Pumpkin Pie cardstock and then I scraped the Tangerine Tango ink pad across the surface to create to spooky moon. I adhered the circle to a 3” x 2 3/8” piece of Smoky Slate cardstock and then stamped the tree image in Memento Black ink. I finished the layer by scraping the Basic Grey ink pad across the layer to create the hazy sky.

Today I am sharing a festive winter night window card. To create the window scene I used the White Gel Pen to color the embossed Night of Navy cardstock to create the snowy night background and the Sleigh Ride edgelits to cut out the village in Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer paper for my window focal point on my card front.

My card base is a piece of 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ Whisper White cardstock folded in half.

I layered the 4 3/4″x 3 1/2″ snowflake vellum on top of a piece of 4 3/4″x 3 1/2″ Whisper White cardstock with glue dots. I then adhered it to a piece of 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″ Red Red cardstock. I added the layer to the card front with dimensional dots.

Today I am sharing a super cute spooky kitty in the window card that is just perfect for this time of year. I used the same burning technique on the background in the window that I shared in a post the other day. If you missed it…Click here to see how to create the burnished background.

I wanted just a bit of color and texture in my designer paper layer so I used my Rich Razzleberry and Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Markers to color in the white dots and then embossed the layer with the Lucky Stars embossing folder. I must admit my favorite element is the sparkly kitty…the black glimmer paper is just awesome!
