Celebrate life’s special moments with a handcrafted card that truly sparkles! This week, I’m excited to share a project that combines vibrant colors, textured layers, and a unique glassy finish to create a card perfect for any celebration.

This project is part of the June All Star Video Class Tutorial Bundle Blog Hop, and while the tutorial bundle is packed with exclusive ideas, I’m giving you a bonus design today that complements the suite perfectly!

Starting with a Berry Burst card base, I layered strips of patterned paper in coordinating prints. The focal point features a Fresh Freesia die-cut circle adorned with stamped glasses, adding a touch of festivity. The sentiment, stamped in Secret Sea ink on a white die-cut banner, ties the design together. A double bow using Strawberry Slush twine adds the perfect finishing touch.

To achieve the glassy effect, I used packing tape over the stamped glasses and then embossed the layer with the Glass & Gardens embossing folder. This simple technique adds a realistic glass-like texture, elevating the overall design.
