Our THEME for this highlight is Sympathy. It is a really sad time when our friends and family lose someone they love in death. We have a wonderful gift of being able to let them know that we are thinking of them and have taken time to make them a very special card or project to show them we love them and are thinking of them during their difficult time. Share the special gift we have with those that need it the most.
Today I am sharing a sympathy card I created for a friend that lost someone close to her a few months ago that was inspired by a card I saw on pinterest created by Amber. This card features the versatile Lovely as a Tree stamp set with timeless tree images that fill any landscape and keep you in tune with nature. It has such a peaceful feel.
Card Layers:
- 5 1/2″ x 81/2″(folded in half) Basic Black cardstock
- 5″ x 3 3/4″ Whisper White cardstock
- 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″ Basic Black cardstock
- 4″ x 2 3/4″ Whisper White cardstock
- (2) 4″ x 2 3/4″ Vellum cardstock
- 5 1/4″ x 4″ Whisper White cardstock (inside)
Words are powerful. The Flourishing Phrases set used for the greetings has the words you need for all occasions: thank you, congratulations, thinking of love, love you and sympathy.
