One of the best resources I find for design inspiration is a good sketch. Card making Sketches are a fun way to get your creative juices flowing.

They provide a starting point to give you some direction and allow you an opportunity to try various techniques and colors. Of course, you can simply copy the sketches as they are pictured but taking the idea and changing the orientation and shapes to leverage the products you have at home, can be so rewarding.

Today I have a super cute Holiday card I created in my Tuesday YouTube LIVE with the Celebrate With Tags Stamp Set and coordinating Tag Celebration Dies that was inspired by this wonderful sketch we used to at our Maker’s Mojo Sketch Social (after party) this past weekend!

Don’t you just love the soft cool colors? I think the Night of Navy, Balmy Blue and Fresh Freesia color combination on the white card base gives such a wintry feel.

Each participant was challenged to grab any of their craft supplies and use the sketch as their inspiration for their project layout.

We had such great variety of samples shared by all those that participated. It really was a fun way to wrap up our awesome 2 day event.
