Today I am sharing one of the fun cards we made at my June 2016 FMN card class featuring the Swirly Bird stamp set. This lovely card was inspired by one created by Marsha Pennington.
This card was a bit messy to create the background with sponges and daubers, but well worth the outcome.
Before using the Swirly Scribbles thinlits to cut the waves I used daubers to add Dapper Denim and Emerald Envy Classic ink to a 1 3/4″ strip of Whisper White cardstock. I then stamped the swirl image all over the piece in Dapper Demin classic ink.
I finished the water with some clear Wink of Stella to add some shimmer.
