Today’s card is super quick to put together and just perfect to send a happy note to a friend. It was inspired by one created by Kylie Bertucci and features the Eastern beauty stamp set and coordinating Eastern medallion thinlits.
How much are you loving the new in-colors? This card features the new Lemon Lime Twist. I must say when I first saw this color I didn’t really care much for it, but it is just the perfect on trend color to give your projects a fun pop!
Doesn’t it look great paired with Island Indigo and Whisper White?
Card layers:
- 11″ x 4 1/4″ (fold in half) Island Indigo card base
- 5 1/4″ x 4″ lemon Lime Twist cardstock
- 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″ Whisper White
- 5 1/4″ x 4″ Whisper White (card inside)
Eastern medallion thinlits are so versatile. The die I used to cut out the lemon lime twist “flowers” actually cuts a partial cut as seen in the image on the left. Well, I simply took my paper snips and clipped along the score line to complete the cut out to give me the image I wanted.
I added a bit of Gold Metallic Thread and popped up my layers to complete my focal point- LOVE IT!
