A focal point is the most important aspect in a design that we want to catch the eye of the viewer.
Placing a pattern, texture or pop of color behind the focal point helps grab the eye and draw more attention to emphasize exactly where you want to draw attention to first on your project.
Today I have a country-cute card that I created in my Tuesday YouTube LIVE where I shared how to create this all occasions card with a few products from the Country Floral Lane Suite Collection seen on pages 8-9 of the January-April 2023 Mini Catalog.
This collection is perfect to create fun, quirky projects in lovely shades of blue, green, and pink that embody springtime. With charming hearts and flowers, this suite allows you to explore endless creative possibilities.
I love how the woven strips of pattern papers behind the focal point really adds so much interest and texture to this lovely card.
