Today I am sharing a quick & versatile masculine card I made that was inspired by one I saw from Linda B featuring the By The Tide stamp set. This stamp set is one of the many items on the retiring list. Click here for full details about the 2015-2016 Annual & Occasions Catalogs Retired List.
I started with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Lost Lagoon cardstock that I folded in half.
The Soft Suede layer is cut 5 1/4″ x 4″ and adhered to the card front with snail adhesive.
I stamped the splatter on a piece of 5 1/8″ x 3 7/8″ Very Vanilla cardstock in Lost Lagoon ink with an image from the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set. I added the greeting from the Something to Say stamp set and the coral image from the By the Tide stamp set in Soft Suede ink and then adhered the layer to my card front with snail adhesive.
I cut a 4 3/4″ piece of the Burlap ribbon and cut the overedge stitch line off the left side so I could easily ravel the ribbon. I adhered the ribbon to the card front with multipurpose liquid glue.
I stamped images from the By the Tide stamp set in Lost Lagoon ink on 1 1/4″ x 1 1/4″ squares of Very Vanilla cardstock. I stamped the the word image across each square with Crumb Cake ink. I layered each of the vanilla squares to 1 3/8″ x 1 3/8″ Soft Suede cardstock squares and then popped each square up on the card front with dimensional dots.
