Today I am sharing a super cute Easter card. This card was inspired by several I saw on pinterest and I just had to give it a try.
I used the cut out oval on the card inside and stamped my greeting from the Suite Sayings stamp set.
To create the card front, I started with a piece of 5″ x 3 3/4″ Whisper White cardstock and traced the outside edge of the oval framelit. I used the 5th one out from the smallest.
I used the traced oval as a guide to stamp each of the colors with the image from the Work of Art stamp set.
I stamped Blushing Bride, Soft Sky, Perfect Plum, Blushing Bride and Mint Macaron. Once the layer was stamped I adhered it to the Perfect Plum card base.
I banner cut the ends of a 1/2 strip of Whisper White cardstock with the Hexagon punch and then stamped my greeting with the Greatest Greetings stamp set.
I cut the same oval I traced earlier out of a piece of 5 1/4″ x 4″ Whisper White cardstock and then embossed it with the Large Dot folder and attached it over the stamped image with dimensional dots.
I adhered the greeting to the card front adding a dimensional dot in the center and glue dots on each end. This added a bit of curve to the greeting.
I punched a Blushing Bride and Perfect Plum small flower with the Itty Bitty Accents punch.
I also punched a Blushing Bride and Perfect Plum flower with the Petite Petals punch.
I used the Bird Builder punch to cut out the leaves in the Mint Macaron cardstock.
I layered each of the punched images and added a Pearl Basic Jewel to the center of each flower. I adhered them to the card front with Glue Dots.
Super cute right?
