Today I want to share a cool technique called white wash with you. We did this beautiful sympathy card using the white wash technique at my Feb FMN card class.
I stamped the large single flower image from the new Peaceful Petals stamp set using white craft ink on midnight muse cardstock. Dip the stamped image in white embossing powder and heat it with the embossing tool until the powder is melted. I added the white wash look using the aqua painters and white craft ink.
Did you notice the scallop tabs? I created the tabs using the new scallop tag topper punch. Very cool-right? Jenni Pauli shared a sample using this technique and I just had to give it a try. The scallop tag topper is quickly becoming on of my favorite punches!
On the inside of the card I stamped the greeting and some leaves. I really like how the leaves show behind the flowers when the card is closed.
I hope you enjoy!
