Where do you get your inspiration for your projects? Have you ever used the awesome samples in the Stampin’ Up! catalogs? I find this is a great resource for inspiration.
Today’s project is inspired by the sample featured on page 47 of the annual catalog.
My husband is a mail carrier for our local post office and I wanted to create a nice card for him to gift to his new customers to welcome them to their new home and this sample was the perfect inspiration.
I gave him plenty of space on the card inside to add a nice note to introduce himself and welcome them to the neighborhood.
Do you get lots of packages during the holiday season…maybe even all year long-LOL. Changing the sentiments to change this to a thank you card would be perfect to gift to your local deliver men and women to let them know you appreciate all they do.
I combined images from the You Always Deliver, Swirly Frames and Well Said stamp sets. I love how easily our sets coordinate with each other!
The Crumb Cake and Ivory Stampin’ Blends allowed me to quickly color the packages before fussy cutting them out.
Card Layers:
- 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (folded in half) Crumb Cake cardstock
- 4-3/4″ x 3-1/2″ Blueberry Bushel cardstock-die cut with 3rd largest rectangle
- 3-1/2″ x 2-1/8″ Whisper White cardstock
- 2-3.4″ x 1″ real Red cardstock- die cut
- 1-1/4″ x 2″ Whisper White cardstock- fussy cut
