Today I am sharing the adorable birthday card I made for my sweet grand babies 2nd birthday.

Here is a peek at the birthday girl enjoying her cake.

I really like the Night of Navy, Blushing Bride and Coastal Cabana color combo.

I love the soft feel created with the texture added to the 5-1/4″ x 4″ Thick White cardstock layer with the Tufted embossing folder. It really reminds me of a quilt.

Do you like how the strips of paper peek through the die-cut number 2? I used the retired Large Numbers framelit dies to cut out the number. Such a bummer that these are no longer available for purchase.

Next I used a masking technique to stamp “happy” in Night of Navy ink and then stamped and embossed “birthday” in clear powder.

The focal point was finished off with the stamped Night of Navy ND and Coastal Cabana scallop circle that I cut out with the 3/4″ circle punch.

• 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (folded in half) Thick White cardstock
• 5-1/4″ x 4″ Thick White cardstock-emboss
• 3″ x 3″ Thick White cardstock
• 1/2″ x 4″ DSP
• 3/4″ x 4″ Coastal Cabana cardstock-punch
• 7/8″ x 4″ DSP
• 5/8″ x 4″ DSP
• 1/8″ x 4″ Glimmer Paper
• 1/2″ x 4″ Coastal Cabana cardstock
• 3/8″ x 4″ DSP
