I believe I have mentioned this previously, but my husband is a mail carrier for our local post office and each year he gifts a little Thank You card to all his customers that recognize him in some way during the Holiday season.

For his card this year we kept is simple and created a card that represented the front of a mail box. It’s a bit difficult to see in the pictures with this being a black on black card, but I think it turned out really nice.

While I did all the prep work cutting the pieces out, Mike stamped and assembled each of the cards. He did such a great job don’t you think?

The sentiment from the Poinsettia Petals stamp set was simply perfect for the card inside. This left him plenty of space to write in a hand written note to each customer.

Do you get lots of packages during the holiday season…maybe even all year long-LOL. Mail and package volume has been at an all time high this year due to the changes in online shopping impacts from COVID as well as the massive election mail so our carriers are working very long hours. As you are creating your Holiday cards and gifts this year, don’t forget all our service providers. I think it’s even more important this year to let your postal worker, UPS driver, nail technician, hair stylist, grocery store employees and so many more, know how much you appreciate them for all they do.

  • 4-1/4″ x 8-1/2″ (folded in half) Basic Black cardstock
  • 4″ x 4″ Whisper White cardstock
  • 5-1/2″ x 1″ Basic Black cardstock- back with adhesive sheet and die-cut letters
