The ladybug body, wings and the leaves were all cut out with the Ladybug Builder Punch, making this delightful project one you can create multiples of in no time. 

The dots on the wings are embossed with Black Embossing Powder to add some gloss. Embossing is definitely one of my favorite techniques. It’s super cool to watch the powder melt as you heat it up.

To add a little texture and depth to the leaves, I scored, cut them apart, and folded them before adhering them to the card base. LOVE it!

Do love a nature-inspired Holiday card to send to your friends? Rustic pinecone’s and sprigs of greenery just get me in the Holiday spirit. Who says you have to stick with the basic red’s and green’s that typically represent the season. Let’s change it up a bit by pulling in some non-traditional colors to make your card really stand out among the rest!

Today’s project is just one of the beautiful cards we created at my October 2021 FMN (Forget Me Not) Class where I featured the Christmas Season bundle to create a elegant card that I hope will give you a little inspiration. Adorn all your yuletide greetings with the nature-inspired images of this Christmas Season Stamp Set. These versatile pinecone and holly berry images are perfect for card making in a range of looks—use with natural colors and embellishments for a calming, peace-of-the-season greeting, or add some shimmery bling for a delightful dazzling effect. This is a Two-Step Stampin’ set; it allows you to layer two or more images to create one final image with extra texture and dimension in the colors you want. LOVE IT!

I elevated this project with the elegant pine bough pattern created by one of the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders by giving the card inside some dimension and texture. These folders are perfect for card backgrounds and other elements for paper projects.

It’s easy to make a great impression! Just place flat cardstock in this embossing folder, run it through a Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine, and out comes cardstock with a bold textured design. 3D embossing folders take embossing to the next level, with deeper, more detailed impressions than standard embossing folders.

Looking for a unique, non-traditional card that will stand out this Holiday season? I have a super fun card to send to those on your holiday card list this year they are sure to remember. 

Today’s project is just one of the fantabulous cards we created at my October 2021 FMN (Forget Me Not) Class where I combined images from a few different stamp sets to create a playful card that I hope will give you a little inspiration. Doesn’t the look on that goats face just crack you up? It’s my favorite image in the Way to Goat stamp set. I love that this layout can be used for just about any occasion simply by changing out the sentiment. You can also tweak the goat to change out the accessory to represent each occasion. I could see him easily wearing a Birthday hat…right?

Are you a big fan of the traditional Christmas Poinsettia plant? I have some friends that go all out each Christmas season, placing these plants all over their home to create a stunning red and green floral display. Of course this lovely plant is available is several shades of red, white and pinks. I have even seen some variations of blues, yellows and purples.

Today I am sharing a stunning Holiday card we created at my October 2021 FMN (Forget Me Not) Class full of Shimmery Polished Pink Poinsettias that is sure to dazzle your friends and family. These gorgeous flowers and leaves were heat embossed on the In-Color Shimmer Vellum and then die-cut out to create all the fabulous shimmery layers. This is one Holiday card they are sure to display throughout the entire season and beyond. This wonderful project was inspired by a card by Gail Ellis.

Each month we have a new theme for our Diemonds Team swap. It’s so much fun to see all the great projects the team creates. We even award a prize each month to a lucky participant.

Today I am sharing a wonderful Double Box Fun Fold card created by Belinda Rodgers for our recent Diemonds Team swap where she combined the Welcoming Woods stamp set and Beauty Of The Earth Designer Series Paper (DSP). I love how easy it is to mix and match our products to create the perfect card for any occasion.

If trees are the answer, what’s the question? In this case, the question is, “Who in my life needs a handmade card from me?” That’s easy—everyone! Who’s having a birthday? Who deserves congratulations? Who needs to know you’re thinking of them? With the Welcoming Woods Stamp Set, you can make cards for all of these occasions and more. Stamp snowflakes for winter or leaves in the color of the season, then add some color using your favorite coloring tools. You’ll find year-round uses for these realistic images and variety of sentiments. This is a Distinktive stamp set; it has a special texture that gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images.

I love how Belinda added some texture behind the stamped trees with a sponge dauber and a little bit of Balmy Blue ink.

Have you tried an Impossible fun fold yet? When you look at the card it seems super complicated, but it really is an easy fun fold to create. It’s all about how you cut & score the card base.

The card base is scored down the center (dashed line) and then cut (red lines) up to the score line on each side as shown below in the template. While the project Mary created has the side cuts at 1-3/8″ vs the 1″ I have shown in the template pictured below, it’s the same concept.

Once the card base is ready, just flip the right side over along the score line so the wider part of the panel is now at the top of the card- super cool right?

For day 6 of my Christmas in July week,  I have a spectacular holiday pop-up card created by Robin Just for our recent Diemonds Team swap. This stunning Curvy Pop-Up Fun Fold card is super fast and easy to create and the layout is so versatile. Just a little stamping and a few layers finished with some ribbon and embellishments completes this project in no time. 

How gorgeous is the Peaceful Place Specialty Designer Series Paper (DSP)? Love all the shades of gray as well as the silver metallic details you will find on one side of each design!

Did you notice the texture on the snow cover hill? This layer was created by die-cutting the Snowy White Velvet paper with the Cabin Dies. It adds such a soft touch to the project. LOVE IT!
