Today I am sharing a super sweet birthday card class we made at my July 2016 FMN class featuring the Sweet Cupcake stamp set and Cupcake Cutouts Framelits.
We created the icing on the cupcake by stamping image #3 in Pink Pirouette on Whisper White cardstock and then adding image #2 in Melon Mambo. I then cut out the image with the coordinating die.
I added some clear Wink of Stella over the Melon Mambo image and then stamped image #1 with the Whisper White craft ink and set it aside to dry while I put the rest of the card together. The inky the better so you can get some nice texture.
I did not like the white edge around the icing cupcake so once it was dry I sponged the outer edge with the Melon Mambo ink. For a darker edge you can run your Melon mambo marker along the edge.
