We had such a nice time at our Auguest paper Pumpkin club.A big thank you to everyone that was able to come. I love how versatile the stamps in the August Paper Pumpkin-Pedal Praise kit are. The first card I did I decided to just use the thank you so much stamp.
I was able to resist adding layers and pulling out my dimensionals on this card, but I couldn't resist adding some razzleberry stitched ribbon.
The second card I made was inspired by one of my customers (Candy) that attends my monthly Paper Pumpkin club. I really liked how she used the different colored bicycles across her card. I posted Candy's card first and then my version.
I pulled out my July kit to stamp the polka dots on my flags and the May kit to stamp my greeting on some scraps of cardstock.
On my third card I really wanted to try creating the look where the bicycle is moving. I have seen this technique used on many samples in the past, but had never given it a try. While my bicycle looks a bit off, I found this to be a very fun and easy technique.
I pulled out my July kit again to stamp the chevron on my flags and used small pieces of the printed crushed curry strips to create the additional flags.
On my last card was inspired by a couple of other samples I saw online. I couldn't resist pulling out my Big Shot to emboss, add some layers and a couple of embellishments.
I used several of the printed crushed curry strips together to give a layered look to minimize the additional cardstock needed.
I used the marker direct to stamp technique to give the bicycle added interest. How can you go wrong with this cute bicycle?
Hope you have fun creating with your August kit! I would love to see what you created.
