Today I am sharing a fun cupcake birthday card I created for my Diemonds demonstrator team color challenge featuring the Birthday Cheer bundle. Hats, presents, and as many cupcakes as you like are all included in these great products! What do you think of the color combination? At first glance I was thinking this was best for a baby card, but with the pop of Melon Mambo I turned to cupcakes!
Today’s layout was inspired by one of the samples on page 9 of the Sale-a-Bration catalog. Do you use all the wonderful samples in the Stampin’ Up! catalogs to inspire your creations? It’s so much fun to choose a layout and grab whatever supplies you have on hand to create a brand new card!
Card layers:
- 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (folded in half) Crumb Cake cardstock
- 4″ x 5-1/4″ DSP
- 2-3/4″ x 3-3/4″Crumb Cake cardstock- die cut
- 2″ x 4″ Blushing Bride cardstock- backed with adhesive sheet/die-cut
- 2″ x 4″ Melon Mambo cardstock- backed with adhesive sheet/die-cut
- 2″ x 4″ Balmy Blue cardstock- backed with adhesive sheet/die-cut
- 2″ x 1-1/2″ Whisper White cardstock- backed with adhesive sheet/die-cut
- 4″ x 5-1/4″ Whisper White cardstock (inside)
