Today I am sharing a sweet baby card I made while playing with the Zoo Babies stamp set and the Color Me Irresistible designer series paper. This card was inspired by one I saw on pinterest, but I could not find the name of the stamper to give them credit 🙁

With all the layers I was able to save a bit of cardstock by using the 2 1/2″ Circle punch to cut out the circle in a piece of 5 1/4″ x 4″ Pool Party cardstock. I then used the Big Shot and the Elegant Dots embossing folder to texture the circle.

Adhere the Pool Party cardstock layer to the Crumb Cake cardstock card base. The card base is cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and then folded in half. Don’t worry you will cover the hole with the next layer.

I used the Big Shot with the Magnetic platform and Star Collection framelits to cut out a star from a piece of 3 1/4″ x 3 1/4″ Crumb Cake cardstock. I cut the star out using the 3rd star from the center.

I then stamped the star with the Hardwood stamp set in Crumb Cake ink and then adhered it to the front of the 5″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Color Me Irresistible designer series paper.

I stamped the greeting from the Something to Say stamp set in Crumb Cake ink.

Stamp the elephant image in Pool Party ink on Whisper White cardstock and then fussy cut it out. I added a candy dot for the eye and a heart from the Itty Bitty Accents Epoxy Stickers.

I cut a 2″ x 3 3/4″ piece of Color Me Irresistible designer series paper. I used the Ornate Tag Topper punch to cut the top of the tag and the Corner Rounder punch to round the bottom corners.

I adhered the elephant to the tag front with Dimensional dots and added a 3″ piece of the Pool Party Glitter ribbon (love this) through the top hole in the tag and then tied it together with a piece of Linen Thread.

To finish the card I stamped the greeting and another elephant on the card inside in Crumb Cake ink.

I now have a perfect card to give to a co-worker that just had a baby!
