Today I am sharing the card I made for our Diemonds team swap. I combined the Sleigh Ride Edgelits with the Delicate Ornament Thinlits.
My card base is Night of Navy cardstock cut 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ and then folded in half.
Next I layered a piece of 5″ x 3 3/4″ Cucumber Crush cardstock.
I stamped my greeting and then embossed the 4 7/8″ x 3 5/8″ Whisper White cardstock layer with the Softly Falling embossing folder and then popped it up with dimensionals on the card front.
I found my ornament was much easier to cut out and assemble if I cut each of the die cut pieces separately and then adhered them together vs running the entire thing thru the Big Shot at once to cut out the ornament shape. It was super quick to use my paper snips to trim the excess cardstock back to the ornament shape.
