Today I am sharing the super quick Daisy Thank You card I made for my recent Diemonds team swap. By changing up the greeting this card could be used for many different occasions.
Picture yourself lying in the sun, sipping your favorite beverage, kids playing nearby, soft music playing, and everything on your to-do list and every household chore is already done. That’s the same feeling you’ll get from this lovely floral Daisy Delight stamp set. It really is just delightful.
Card Layers:
- 5 1/2″ x 81/2″ (folded in half) Crushed Curry cardbase
- (2) 5 1/8″ x 2 7/8″ Very Vanilla cardstock
- 5″ x 3 3/4″ Designer Paper
A fun tip: stamp and punch the Daisies out of one of the Very Vanilla layers before adhering it to the card front. This saves you some paper when you have just a thin edge showing once you adhere your layers together. Yes if you took my cards apart you would see all kinds of holes in the layers that are covered up 🙂
To add a bit of depth to my flower petals, I ran my bone folder along the petals to give them a slight curl. On one of the flowers I curled the petals down and on the other I curled them up slightly.
