Are you a big fan of the traditional Christmas Poinsettia plant? I have some friends that go all out each Christmas season, placing these plants all over their home to create a stunning red and green floral display. Of course this lovely plant is available is several shades of red, white and pinks. I have even seen some variations of blues, yellows and purples.
Today I am sharing a stunning Holiday card we created at my October 2021 FMN (Forget Me Not) Class full of Shimmery Polished Pink Poinsettias that is sure to dazzle your friends and family. These gorgeous flowers and leaves were heat embossed on the In-Color Shimmer Vellum and then die-cut out to create all the fabulous shimmery layers. This is one Holiday card they are sure to display throughout the entire season and beyond. This wonderful project was inspired by a card by Gail Ellis.
Nothing says classic Christmas like the Poinsettia Place stamp set. You can easily create pretty, seasonal blooms that embody elegant beauty. Combine the stamp set with the coordinating Poinsettia Dies for even more versatility.
Did you notice all the detailed white on white layers behind the floral arrangement? I just love all these little special details. They add so much texture and really make the card one to slide into a frame to create a home décor piece so you can enjoy it for years to come.
