How much do you love the September Wickedly Sweet kit? So cute- right?
I made my first 4 bags as per the instructions and added some caramels as a perfect fall treat. I have been covering another department at my “day job” while they hired a new manager and these treat bags will be a perfect gift for the ladies as I transition back to my regular role. Hope they like them…
OK so I must admit I am a bit bag challenged. My bags seemed to have an issue with collapsing vs giving me a nice smooth shape. How come all the ones you see on pinterest look so smooth? I feel like I am center stage in a “Nailed it” addition 🙂 I will say running the bone folder along my bags to soften the fibers did help a bit.
For my next 4 bags I decided to leave the straw out to give more of a haystack look. I filled these with glue sticks, liquid adhesive, 2-way glue and washi tape to use as gifts at my annual Stamp party I hold each November. I love being prepared so far in advance!
To use up the rest of my tags I decided to create a few cards.
I pulled out some Whisper White CS as well as Delightful Dijon ,Elegant Eggplant and Cajun Craze carstock /ink to create my cards.
Of course I could not resist using a few embossing folders as well 🙂
On a couple of the cards I ran my bone folder over the straws to flatten them out and then adhered them to the card fronts as an embellishment.
