As soon as I opened my September 2016 Something Good to Eat Paper Pumpkin Kit and saw the test tubes I knew exactly what I wanted to create with this kit so I saved it. Instead of using the test tube to create the adorable Halloween treats the kit was intended for I grouped 3 of mine together to create little hot cocoa treats to use as gifts for a few of my co-workers.
I filled one tube with crushed peppermints, the second tube with chocolate chips and the third tube with hot cocoa mix.
I wrapped the 3 tubes together with a 1 1/2" x 5" strip of Candy Lane Designer Series Paper.
I then cut and 11" piece of the Burlap Ribbon around the paper band.
I stamped my greeting on the tags with the Wonderful Winterland November 2016 Paper Pumpkin kit stamp set and tied it to the burlap with the Candy Cane Lane Baker's Twine.
Love how these turned out!
After I completed my hot cocoa treats I still have one test tube left so I created an ornament by filling the tube with Fancy Frost Sequins.
I added a piece of 1/8” Silver ribbon to hang the ornament and wrapped the top with Silver Glimmer Paper to complete the project.
I hope you got a little inspiration from my projects and would love to see what you did with your test tubes from the September 2016 Something Good to Eat Paper Pumpkin Kit. Please share them on my facebook page Stampin Up! Demonstrator Wendy Lee
