September 2013 Paper Pumpkin Kit – Wahoo

The Wahoo kit was fun to play with and I think everyone that came to club this month was pleased with their cards in the end.

Wahoo Leaves 1In the spirit of the season I started by pulling out the Autumn Accents die (a favorite) and added a few fall leaves in Cajun Craze, Midnight Muse and Old Olive cardstock to my card to add a bit of color.

Wahoo Leaves 2With Halloween right around the corner, I decided I wanted to add a cute spider to my next card. I stamped on the back of one of the note cards using stamps from the July kit and punched out his body with my 1 1/4" and 3/4" circles. I created his legs using the scraps that were leftover from punching out my striped chevron pieces. Everyone seemed to really like this one.

Wahoo SpiderI added a splash (OK maybe a more than a splash) of dazzling details to add sparkle to the spiders web- Love it!

Wahoo Spider 2I started my third card by using the splatter stamp from my welcome kit. I love mixing in stamps from previous paper pumpkin kits.

Wahoo BannerI stamped on a scrap of Old Olive cardstock in Midnight Muse ink and then used one of the Bitty Banner framelits to cut out my "you did it".

Wahoo Banner 2I really enjoy figuring out ways to use all the pieces that come in the kits so on my fourth card I decided to use my "trash" I had leftover from punching out my polka dot chevron pieces. I backed them with pieces of cardstock I punched out with my 1" square punch.
