The Wahoo kit was fun to play with and I think everyone that came to club this month was pleased with their cards in the end.
In the spirit of the season I started by pulling out the Autumn Accents die (a favorite) and added a few fall leaves in Cajun Craze, Midnight Muse and Old Olive cardstock to my card to add a bit of color.
With Halloween right around the corner, I decided I wanted to add a cute spider to my next card. I stamped on the back of one of the note cards using stamps from the July kit and punched out his body with my 1 1/4" and 3/4" circles. I created his legs using the scraps that were leftover from punching out my striped chevron pieces. Everyone seemed to really like this one.
I added a splash (OK maybe a more than a splash) of dazzling details to add sparkle to the spiders web- Love it!
I started my third card by using the splatter stamp from my welcome kit. I love mixing in stamps from previous paper pumpkin kits.
I stamped on a scrap of Old Olive cardstock in Midnight Muse ink and then used one of the Bitty Banner framelits to cut out my "you did it".
I really enjoy figuring out ways to use all the pieces that come in the kits so on my fourth card I decided to use my "trash" I had leftover from punching out my polka dot chevron pieces. I backed them with pieces of cardstock I punched out with my 1" square punch.
I hope you feel inspired and enjoy your creations as you work with the Wahoo kit.
