Step 1: Stamping the Cheerful Elements

Begin by selecting the joyful elements from the Sending Cheer stamp set. With a clear block, apply the ink of your choice to the stamps. I have chosen Pecan Pie, Cherry Cobbler and Mossy Meadow for my color combination to capture that festive spirit.

Step 2: Decorating Your Card Base

Cut your cardstock in half to create a standard card size and then fold it in half to create the card base. Then, start decorating! Taking the general layout from the inspiration card, I decided to select a piece of the Shining Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper vs stamping the layer. Using pattern papers is a fast and easy way to create, saving you a little time.

Step 3: Assembling Your Card

Now that you’ve created your festive elements, it’s time to assemble your card. Adhere your stamped and die-cut elements to your card base, arranging them in an aesthetically pleasing way. Here I have used the sketch as a guide to lay out my elements. A good tip is to use dimensionals on some of your layers to add depth and dimension to your card.

Step 4: Celebrate the Craft

As you put the finishing touches on your Sending Cheer card, take a moment to appreciate the joy that crafting brings. Your card is more than paper and ink; it’s a piece of your heart and creativity.
