Today I am sharing a super fun shaker card I made while playing around with some of my new goodies from the Holiday catalog.
As soon as I got my hands on my Detailed Santa thinlits I could see waves in Santa’s beard so had to give it a try.
I cut the Detailed Santa thinlits die in the center of a 4 1/8″ x 4 1/8″ piece of Dapper Denim cardstock. I used my paper snips to cut away santas hat and face. I add a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to the “waves” to add some shimmer.
To create the shaker focal point of the card, I adhered a 4″ x 4″ Window Sheet behind the die cut piece with the Fine Tip Glue Pen and then lined the edges of the cut out with the Foam Adhesive Strips.
The Green Mica Flakes were just perfect for the look I wanted to create.
I closed the back of the shaker card with the stamped piece of designer series paper.
I stamped a 5 1/4″ x 4″ piece of Very Vanilla cardstock to add to the inside of my 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ (folded in half) Emerald Envy card base.
The Kraft Rope trim added the perfect touch to finish the front of the card.
