An excuse to bring your love of the ocean into your paper crafting? Yes, please!
I has so much fun creating this gorgeous ocean-themed collage card (inspired by one I saw created by Tami Hewlett) in my Tuesday Facebook LIVE showcasing the Seascape Stamp Set and coordinating Sea Life Dies.
This is such a versatile layout that can be used for so many occasions simply by changing out the sentiment and color combination to create the mood you are looking for.

Did you notice the embossed Vellum layer behind the focal point? I added just a “splash” of dimension and a whole lot of wow with the Splatters 3D Embossing Folder!

Of course I could not resist adding in a bit of the Waves Of The Ocean Designer Series Paper (DSP) die-cut with the Layering Diorama Dies. With imagery of hand-poured paint, this marble-patterned paper is bubbling with possibility! Pick one side for beautiful blue hues, then flip the page for pastel tropical tones. You can easily make gorgeous and intricate custom die-cut pieces using the Sea Life Dies to add texture to your handmade cards like I did on this project. I even added a bit of color to the Seahorse with Blending Brushes.
The dies include a seahorse, fishes, and seaweed, making it perfect for any type of cards: gender neutral, masculine, or even girlfriend cards. Customize your projects as you wish using coordinating products, and show your love and appreciation to your loved ones. Or, just wave hello to “sea” how they’re doing!

- 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Vellum cardstock- emboss
- 3-3/4″ x 1/2″ Pacific Point cardstock
- 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Petal Pink cardstock- die cut coral
- 2″ x 4-1/2″ Shimmer White cardstock- die cut
- 3″ x 4″ DSP- die cut
- Scrap DSP- die cut
- 3-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Basic White cardstock (inside)
