Today I am sharing one of the Mother’s Day cards we made at my April 2016 FMN class that was inspired by a card created by Becky Roberts.
It just amazes me how different the card can look when you change out the designer paper.
We added the water look to the Rose image with Crystal Effects. So sad to see this product on the retired list 🙁
To achieve a 3″ x 3 5/8″ finished pleated layer, I cut my designer paper 3″ x 6 5/8″ and scored it at 2 3/8″, 2 7/8″, 4 3/8″ & 5 3/8″
I then cut the corner off the designer paper measuring 1 1/4″ down on the far right and over 2 3/8″ on the left.
The finished piece will look like this.
