The vibrant colors and clever design are sure to make today’s card a summer favorite (can you tell I am already over winter???)
Create Your Card Base: Take a piece of Granny Apple Green cardstock and score, emboss and fold it to form your card base. This will serve as the rind of your watermelon. Super fun!
Create the Watermelon Slice: Simply add few stips of Granny Apple Green foil, a strip of Basic White cardstock and some Sweet Sorbet cardstock to the fun fold flap of your card base. Don’t forget to stamp the seeds in Memento black before adding the layers to your card.
Stamp Your Sentiment: Select a sweet sentiment from the Hope You Know stamp set and stamp it onto a die-cut tag. For this project I did a little masking to select only one of the words in the sentiment.
Personalize Inside: Don’t forget to add your personal touch inside the card. Stamp a cheerful message or leave space for a handwritten note. Here I have added some Designer Series Paper on the inside flap to bring the design to the inside.
There you have it—a simple yet charming Watermelon Fun Fold Card that’s perfect for sending fruity wishes to your loved ones. Get ready to spread smiles with this delightful creation!
