I am always making lists, but keeping track of where I put those lists is sometimes a challenge for me. It is not uncommon to find sticky notes everywhere. So I decided to take the October Paper Pumpkin Memo Medley Kit to create a magnetic chalkboard. I used an inexpensive cookie sheet from the dollar store and sprayed it with chalkboard paint to get started.
I am loving the Gift Bows die featured in the Holiday catalog and could not resist grabbing some Designer Series Paper, Gumball Green Cardstock and some of the burlap ribbon to create a fun bow for the top of my board.
I used the stamps and some glass stones to create the all out of magnets to hold small notes onto the magnetic chalkboard.
Crystal effects works perfectly to adhere the layers together when creating the magnets.
Add a little color to the base of the memo board with Rich Razzleberry ink and adhere it to the magnetic chalkboard with dimensionals. I love how the embossed surface resists the ink.
I created the To Do magnets to run along the side of the memo board.
I am hopeful my new magnetic chalkboard will help keep me organized.
