I really connected with the March Glittered Greetings Paper Pumpkin kit. My husband even made a comment that he noticed I was excited. How could I not be with increase to 8 cards, the wooden greetings, the glimmer embellishments and gold envelope liners- whooo hooo!
I made my first two cards as pictured in the kit instructions.
I must say I am loving the wooden greetings!
I found the photopolymer stamps were so easy to line up when stamping the card fronts.
The glimmer dots added the perfect touch to the cards and were so easy to use with the adhesive backing.
On my next couple of cards I used my markers directly on the stamp to create a multi color image.
I trimmed a bit off the bottom of the envelope liners and used the pieces on my next cards.
I used the adorning accents edgelits to trim the bottom of the card fronts.
I added some gold cord I had left over from my SAB good as gold card kit.
On my last two cards I folded back the card fronts and tucked a strip I cut off of the gold envelope liner into the fold.
I used the left over edge of the glimmer paper to create a glimmer strip along one of the cards. I also punched small circles with the Owl Builder punch and added them to the greeting.
Before adding my glimmer dots,I colored the wooden greeting with my marker to change it up a bit. I really wanted to try to emboss one of the greetings, but was afraid I would ruin it.
On my last card I stamped along the folded back edge.
I added some gold cord and twine I had left over from my SAB good as gold card kit to finish off my card.
Looking forward to see what Stampin' Up! has in store for us in April!
