Today I am sharing one of my favorite cards from my January 2017 FMN class featuring the Lift Me Up bundle. When I first saw this bundle I didn’t think I needed it, but as soon as I saw some of the great samples that were being shared I knew it was a must have!
The Up & Away dies are fabulous! I was able to quickly die-cut hot-air balloons, clouds, and shapes to place behind the detailed balloon in seconds with Thinlits dies and the Big Shot. These dies are a mix of open images and detailed images allowing so much flexibility in your crafting.
For the background of the card I used the direct ink to paper technique (drag your ink pad across the surface of the cardstock) and added some of the Cupcakes and Carousels designer paper to my layers.
The enamel shapes, lace doily and fussy cut banner from the designer paper added my finishing touches!
