I recently watch a video from the Stampin' Up! home office where they shared a cute bow made from one of the pinwheels that come in the June 2014 Paper Pumpkin kit that I thought was so fun. Today I am sharing the step by step instructions with you so you can create you.
Start with one of the pre-cut pinwheel bases in the June 2014 Paper Pumpkin kit.
Clip off opposites sides with your paper snips as shown in the picture. You will use the new bowtie shaped piece to create the base of the bow. Set your scraps aside for now.
Using your bone folder, curl the points of the bow to make them easier to bend.
Adhere each of the 4 bow points to the center of the piece with glue dots as shown in the picture.
Your bow base should look like this once all 4 corners are adhered in place.
Using the scraps we set aside earlier, cut a 3/4" x 2 1/2" strip. Use you bone folder to curl the ends of the strip and wrap it around the center of the bow, adhere in place with glue dots.
Stamp greeting on one end of one of the banner strips included in the kit with night if navy ink.
Slide the greeting through the loop at the bow center to complete your bow.
Hope you enjoy!
