Today I am sharing a lovely card I made using the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits and the stamp set from the Oh Happy Day kit. This card was inspired by one created by Michelle Long.
I started with a 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ piece of Smoky Slate cardstock folded in half for my card base.
I added 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ strips of designer paper along both sides of the card front. I just love how versatile all the prints in the Halloween Night designer series paper are.
I cut the flower top as well as the sunshine word out of both Pumpkin Pie and Tangerine Tango cardstock and layered them on top of each other. The flower stem is cut out of Smoky Slate cardstock. I could not resist adding a bit of Clear Wink of Stella to the flower- Best stuff EVER!
I embossed the 5 1/2″ x 3 1/4″ layer of Whisper White cardstock with the Petals Burst embossing folder before adhering the flower and greeting to the layer. I then popped it up on the card front with Stampin Dimensionals.
I wrapped the 1″ wide Hello banner layer around the white layer to give a bit more dimension to the card.
