Heartfelt Thoughts-Kylie’s International Highlights Winners Blog Hop

I stamped the floral images in Basic Gray Archival ink onto 5″ x 3-3/4″ Shimmery White cardstock and then watercolored the main flower with the Aquapainter and Pink Pirouette ink. I did find my ink pad was a little dry so I do recommend making sure you have a nice inked up pad before using this stamp set. For best results, you just don’t want it too juicy.

I was going for the look you see in black and white photographs where one part of the image has color added. What do you think?

For the sentiment on the card front I stamped in memento Black ink on Vellumn cardstock and embossed with clear powder. The image was then die cut using the 3rd smallest oval in the Layering Ovals framelit dies.

I created the silver frame combining the Layering Ovals framelits (2nd smallest) and the 2nd smallest oval in the Stitched Shapes framelit dies.

I love how the stamped images underneath the vellum show through the vellum just a bit.
