Get ready for Mother’s Day early this year by creating a beautiful Flip Flap fun fold card.
The special texture of the Distinktive Timeless Tulips Stamp Set gives added depth and dimension in a single step, creating photo-realistic images. Love it!
I used the Rock-n-Roll technique to add multiple colors to the tulip. To re-create this look:
- Ink up the entire image with the lighter ink color. I used Blushing Bride here.
- Then roll the edge of the stamp into the darker ink color. I used Calypso Coral here.
- Stamp the image
This fun fold card folds flat and tucks nicely into a standard envelop so you can easily mail it right out to all the mom’s in your life.
When you fold up the front flap it reveals the next layer.
Open up the lower flap to reveal the inside message.
Card Layers:
- 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 3″ & 7″ Blushing Bride cardstock- die cut opening with 2nd largest circle
- 4″ x 2-7/8″ DSP
- 2″ x 1″ Whisper White cardstock- die cut
- 4-1/4″ x 1-1/2″ DSP
- 4-1/4″ x 3/4″ Pretty Peacock cardstock- die cut
- 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ Whisper White cardstock- die cut 2nd largest stitched circle
- 3″ x 3″ Pretty Peacock cardstock- die cut 3rd largest scallop circle
- 3-3/4″ x 2-1/4″ Whisper White cardstock -punch
- 4″ x 3-3/4″ Pretty Peacock cardstock (inside)
- 3-7/8″ x 3-5/8″ Whisper White cardstock (inside)
