Today I am sharing a cute birthday card created with the Piece of Cake stamp set and coordinating Cake builder punch. This is just one of the great projects we made at OnStage…a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator event. Did you miss the highlights from our trip I shared? CLICK HERE to see the post.
Whatever the question is, cake is a good answer. Create handmade birthday cards complete with beautifully stamped cakes with these great products. Bundle these two coordinating products when placing your order and save 10%! Yippee!
We started with the Whisper White narrow note cards for the card base and repeatedly stamped the sentiment in Crumb Cake down the entire card front. Tip: use the clear block as a guide to space the stamped images.
I folded approx. 5-1/2″ of Lovely Lipstick ribbon in half and adhered to card front with SNAIL adhesive.
The cake stand is stamped on 1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ Whisper White cardstock in Blackberry Bliss ink and then die-cut with the 2nd smallest circle in the Stitched Shapes framelit dies.
1-1/2″ x 1-1/2″ Blackberry Bliss cardstock is die-cut using the 4th smallest scallop circle in the Layering Circle dies and then adhered to the back of the white circle with SNAIL adhesive. The circles are then adhered to the card front with dimensionals.
The cake is stamped on a scrap of Whisper White cardstock with Lovely Lipstick ink and then cut out with the Cake builder punch. The cake is adhered to the card front with dimensionals.
Finish the card with a few gold Metallic Pearls.
