Today I am sharing a birthday card I created for our Diemonds team color challenge using the Birthday Cheer stamp set and coordinating Detailed Birthday edgelit dies. This project was inspired by one created by Kimberly Myers.
I knew as soon as I saw this months color challenge that I would really love this combination of colors. They are just so yummy together.
As I played with the layout, I needed one more shade to add behind one of the presents so I pulled in a bit of Highland Heather. It worked beautifully don’t you think?
The next time I create this card I think I will change up the white die-cut present layer to be cut out of Shimmery White cardstock to give it a but more depth & texture.
I brought the Bermuda Bay strip to the card inside as well to tie it back to the card front.

- 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ (folded in half) Thick White cardstock
- 3-1/4″ x 4-5/8″ Blackberry Bliss cardstock
- 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″ Thick White cardstock- die cut
- 1-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ Bermuda Bay cardstock
- 2-3/8″ x 4-1/4″ Thick White cardstock- die cut
- 1″ x 3/4″ Blackberry Bliss cardstock
- 1-1/8″ x 7/8″ Highland Heather cardstock
- 1-3/4″ x 1/2″ Coastal Cabana cardstock
- 1″ x 3/4″ Gorgeous Grape cardstock
- 1″ x 3/4″ Bermuda Bay cardstock
- 5/8″ x 6-1/4″ Coastal Cabana cardstock-banner cut
- 1-1/4″ x 2-1/2″ Thick White cardstock- die cut
- 5/8″ x 5-1/2″ Coastal Cabana cardstock (inside)
