Today I am sharing one of the cards we made at my April 2015 FMN class. Some of the ladies requested to learn this fold several months ago and I was finally able to incorporate it into class.
The pumpkin pie insert the flowers are adhered to is cut 4 1/2″ x 2 1/2″
On the flower pot we sponged in Cajun Craze ink onto the Pumpkin Pie cardstock to give it a terra cotta look.
Here is how I made the flower pot:
To make the flower pot base start with a piece of 9″ x 3 1/2″ pumpkin pie cardstock.
Score at 2″ and 5 1/2″
Accordian fold along score lines as shown. Be sure the 2″ flap is in the front.
Open up the 2″ flap, but leave the base folded along the 5 1/2″ score line. Place the folded edge in 1/2″ and angle the card until the 2″ score line is at the 0 mark on the paper trimmer. Cut through both layers of cardstock.
Flip the card over and repeat on the other side of the pot.
The card base will look like this once all cuts are complete.
Just fold along the score lines to create the flower pot card base.
Hope You Enjoy,
